Guide your child to behave in a positive way is as easy as 1,2,3. Two business practices have been adapted for family use. The first is convincing in its simplicity.
1. Establish a goal
The first step is to meet with their children, and to make "participation" developed with a common goal. Explain that the decisions and goals are made by one of two reasons. That is, away from an uncomfortable situation, or to move towards a desired goal. The latter is undoubtedly the best choice.
2. Course Correction
Establish a routine of having meetings to discuss progress. If your child is off course, say the specific behavior is not helping to advance the goal. It is not guilt, and the session will be most effective when they sit together in the eye. Sitting in Eye level sets the tone that this will be a discussion instead of an adult-imposed directive. Make sure your child helps to create the solutions.
3. PICKUP Something doing
Walsh claims that this technique is highly effective because positive reinforcement increases self-esteem, the most important building block of character. Children want and need love and attention to thrive.
The researchers wanted to know what was more effective with children, praise, criticize, or simply ignore them. They found that children were praised who experienced a 71 percent rate of overall improvement. Those who were criticized for improvement only 19 percent, and ignored improved in only 5 percent. You have to admit that these figures are significant. In another experiment, the researchers behind a mirror of the parents noted to interact with their children. In a specific time period, 433 cases of negative feedback was observed, whereas positive reinforcement was used only 31 times. Obviously the negative corrections are necessary when the actions could lead to injuries or damage.
Watching her son express the desired behavior, say things like: What knife idea. I'm glad you are my child. I realized that ____ – Keep it up. You're getting better at that. They have shown great responsibility when ______. I appreciate the way we ______. ______ I like the way you without having to be remembered. Now I get it.
This second formula is used by speakers of success and self-help writers. It is so simple that you probably say to yourself, "Of course, this makes sense." Here it is: Make one point, telling a story, and have them do an exercise.
1. Make a point
Good parents, teachers and mentors are very good to be clear about what they want teach and why it is important for the student.
2. Telling a story
Walsh, a certified clinical hypnotherapist, says that the secret to tell a story efficient is not to reveal the moral of the story. That also means that not binding on the point you are doing. Why? Stay with me here, because Aesop was wrong. You want your subconscious mind to process the story to reflect their own beliefs, and vision or model of the world. Because it becomes personalized, the lesson is be more valuable and effective. If you provide the lesson of history, the subconscious mind, which is lazy by nature, not be harassed in information processing. The conscious mind and the story is beginning her lesson as just another tax, possibly spawning resistance. That would be a wasted opportunity.
3. Make an exercise
Now for the more powerful of the three-stage process: participating in a game or exercise that really drives the lesson to be learned. Allow a full day for history to be processed by your subconscious mind before you suggest a game or exercise.
Here are some effective exercises: Ask them to create a play, television or radio based on the story, interviewing an expert on the topic, have experimented with a variety of related behaviors with history. Encourage your child to bring their friends in the game. Be creative and have fun with this. The more vivid the experience, the biggest impact of the lesson will be.
Because these activities are interactive and interpersonal practice them improve communication and bonding with their children.
