SI2 GIA vs EGL SI1?
I've been told by a jeweler that a SI2 GIA is something certicifcations such as EGL graded diamond SI1 same. Is there any truth to this? Thank you all answer my other 2 questions that so far has been very helpful! I decided to go with a EF color, cut round, about 1 carat. I that my budget would invest there to increase the brightness and fire of diamond, instead of clarity, while cleaning the eyes. Right now, this chest has 2 diamonds I will see tomorrow, both GIA ceritified: 1) 1.01c SI1 E, cut Excellent, Very Good polish and symmetry 2) 1.01c SI2 M, very good cut, excellent polish and symmetry as I have enough space here to order, track remaining question. Will I notice a difference between the brightness of these two diamonds? They look better? Thank you and anyone who can offer advice or guidance! I'm so anxious now to buy this and ask!
Diamond size and similar colors. Too close to be detected by the normal human eye, I suppose. You will notice the difference, simply because you know which is which. Does your boyfriend differenece announcement? Not at all. I took my girlfriend to watch the ring and showed him a 1.0c VS1 vs VS1 c 75 – was not able to distinguish the difference and took 75 as the best (also the largest, but I digress). You've done your homework and should be applauded so far. As for what to look better? I would prefer that sparkles and shines more than that is what people see that on her finger. I was younger to get a cut and a better quality diamond for my ex-wife.
