I have written often about the great importance of design in the success and differentiation of branded products. We all know examples of well-designed products that the rules become. The Ferrari sports car, Rolex watch, the Barbie doll, a Krups toaster or Pez dispensers are obvious examples of packaging or design of products made everywhere to consumers worldwide. One of the most famous industrial designers of the century 20 was Raymond Loewy.
