How to know if Onyx gem is false?
My boyfriend baught a commitment temperary lovely / The Promise Ring and its marking 825 in the interior … is real silver? it doesn't turn the lawn of my finger … has lil gem diamonds and a black cube inside .. What is the jewel? How do you know? is real, and how to say?! I wash dishes or take a shower with this ring? or going to rust or what? HOW DO I KNOW IF ONYX is false?
The silver is marked 925, could unless you read as 825? Although there is also a new silver standard that is marked 800 also. If the ring is silver can be used in the water like silver does not rust. If you do not turn your finger green is a good sign! although this may be true of a silverplate subject for some time until the silver coating to reveal spent cheaper alloy underneath. I can not really say what the stones are or whether they are real or artificial, without seeing, but Onyx is a good guess that less sapphires that appear black and opaque. Both are used for smaller stones and are often seen with silver or 9ct gold. If you are sure that the diamonds are real, then it is likely that a sapphire stone would be dark, would be meaningless to most designers and manufacturers to use diamonds in relation to a rock man. Only real way to know is it the ring through a magnifying glass jewelry, at least 10 times the force (like a magnifying glass), if the stones have inclusions are real – the defects in it which can be viewed in this way. If the stones are pure and clear that they are almost 100% by the man – a clarity rarely seen in nature. A jeweler would probably be able to say exactly just looking, after manipulation of stones and metals for a while it becomes evident through a simple look at color, brightness, etc. which may or may not be real. But I would say also, this is a gift from his new bride and to be enjoyed as such – as you say a ring is lovely and given to you love
