The ocean side watches the sun in all its splendor, and here you have the beach, pier, coconut palms and thatched umbrellas the beach. The thing to do is get up early and grab a hammock and watch the sunset with the coffee that comes to your door every morning.
Unfortunately while the beach it is not ideal for swimming, so the hotel organizes trips to a bank of sand, so that guests can swim there.
Accommodation options are with Ocean View Cabins, Lake Cabins, Garden Cabanas, or Reef Resort Resort Rooms and rooms that are in the main resort where meals are taken. As preference for privacy from 4 cabins with sea view, or 2 Garden Cottages would be better because Lagoon Cabanas sit in a semicircle on the decking on water. All have been renovated and well equipped.
If the pool the beach is important to you then St. George's Caye Resort can not be to your taste, but for divers here is a good option. If you want service, then you soon realize why this place is a cover of the exclusive Caribbean Resort.
