Looking to attain 'Nirvana', 'Moksha' or salvation following Hindu restrictions? Participate in the spiritual journey of the party Kumbh is held at Prayag or ancient Allahabad in northern India. Prayag is the holy site that marks the confluence of the mystical, Saraswati (not physically visible, but is believed that the flow in the bottom of the earth or to exist on the spiritual plane) – joining the two rivers of India's oldest and most revered: the Ganges and the Yamuna.
This 'Sangam' or the confluence of the Saint is considered sacred. The Hindu belief is to scatter or immerse her ashes cremated at the 'Sangam' to attain 'Moksha' or salvation, freedom from the endless cycle of life and death. The Maha Kumbh Mela or the great festival of the ethereal urn symbolizes the achievement This state of "Nirvana" or "Moksha".
The Kumbh Mela, one of the most important matches of Indian spirituality Held every three years in rotation among the four major Hindu pilgrimage centers of Allahabad, Haridwar, Ujjain and Nashik. Hindus in millions of believers congregate in these places to be cleaned, which symbolizes the achievement of 'Moksha'.
Haridwar is located in the state of Uttaranchal Pradesh, where the sacred Ganges flows from the plains of the Himalayas and is believed to spring some 15,500 miles into the Bay of Bengal on the east coast of India. The ancient city of Ujjain is situated on the banks of Ksipra river in Madhya Pradesh and Nashik on the banks of river Godavari flows past the west coast of Maharashtra.
