Gia Report
My engagement ring is considered as VVS1 – but I see inclusions – HELP!?
I recently gave a 1.66 carat princess cut diamond ring. The report GIA classification, VVS1 States as it is: "Very, very slightly Included: Very difficult to see inclusions at 10x magnification." My problem is that you can visibly see small 'clouds' inclusions with the naked eye, much less an increase of 10x! diamond inclusions may develop over time? And is there any way to cross reference the real diamond to GIA report? Thank you! I'm very new to all this, but I make sure my boyfriend did not get taken advantage of! "And is there a way to cross reference the real diamond for the GIA report?" Yes, you can check the waist to ensure that the diamond you have is the same as in the report. You need a microscope to see the number of GIA, which must be laser waist.
