Does anyone have a recipe for strawberry white chocolate ice cream?
I am not looking for a link .. (I searched the internet) What I'm looking for is a recipe for white chocolate strawberry ice cream that I used to arrive at Nordstroms as a child. Any family recipe to make too! Thank you! Again, no links please!
White Chocolate and Strawberry Ice Cream 1 cup milk 2 large eggs 12 oz of white chocolate, chopped 1 1 / 2 cups heavy cream 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 cups chopped fresh strawberries, chopped Add the milk come to a medium size large pot, bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and slowly beat the hot milk in eggs in a medium bowl. Pour entire mixture back into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir constantly with a whisk until the custard thickens slightly (note careful not to let the mixture boil or eggs scambles). Remove from heat and add the chocolate and stir until chocolate melts. Pour the hot cream through a sieve In a large bowl and clean. Allow the cream to cool slightly, then add the cream and vanilla. Cover and refrigerate until cold or overnight. Stir the mixture cold, cold in 1 or 2 batches in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions, add the strawberries the last 10 minutes of working time in the freezer ice cream according to manufacturer's instructions. May eat gelato immediately or transfer to a freezer container and freeze at least two hours for a firmer ice cream.
