With a little creativity and just a few simple steps, you can easily convert any card with a special meaning for you in one card of handicrafts and memorable souvenir for yourself or your loved ones. Here's how.
Recently, My parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with all the fanfare and the memories that should have a couple who reach that point in their relationship. Also loved what could do with the announcement I have kept from the happy event when it became a memory and a crafty card wonderful making crafts.
You need the following Materials: Please note that you will need to rub extra signs in case you make a mistake and have to redo any of the letters. You will also want choose colors that coordinate with your greeting card as indicated below.
- Greeting Card: For this project I used my parents ad 50th wedding anniversary.
- 1 sheet of clear acetate: Must be durable enough that, when folded, can cope alone.
- 1 sheet of paper decorative scrapbook: We choose a background color of pure cream with a floral design.
- 1 package of the letter of Rub-ons (190 count): "We chose Brown to coordinate with the golden anniversary card and scrapbook paper cream.
- Satin ½ yards of ribbon: We chose a brown gold.
- 1 package used to make decorative jewelry jewelry: We chose a golden heart shaped pendant with a rhinestone. The pendant has two openings, making it easier to insert the tape.
- Gold laces 1 / 8 yards
- Glue Sticker
- 1 package adhesive foam craft stickers
- Scissors
- Driller
- 1 on card or gift box to protect your card design
Step 1: Fold the plastic acetate sheet in the middle of creating a card base. Then the center of greeting cards in plastic sheet to determine how much plastic you want to see once the greeting card is secured in place. Be sure to leave enough space at the top so you can be a hole drilled through the plastic without touching the card below. Remove the card and set aside.
Step 2: Measure and cut scrapbook paper to cover one side of the plastic. Then apply adhesive glue to the back of your scrapbooking decorative paper and the position in which the transparent plastic acetate at the bottom in just half.
Step 3: Stickers Apply foam clear to the back of your greeting card, attaching one in each corner of the card. Once stickers are safe, careful and place greeting card to the center of your decorative paper, leaving enough space for a hole to be drilled at the top of the plastic.
Step 4: Remove and Rub-on letters applied according to package instructions to the upper outer transparent plastic acetate. Note: To have your greeting card below will help guide the placement of their problem in the letters.
Step 5: Use your punch, punch a hole in the top half of clear plastic. Drill a second hole next to the first. Next, sometimes in the middle of the tape and cover the back of each hole by pulling the tape until both ends are even. Secure with a loose knot.
Step 6: laces thread through openings in the heart pendant and secure around the knot tape. Now you're ready to make a decorative bow, tying the belt and allowing the heart pendant to hang freely as a focal point. Once your project card manufacturing is complete, place the memory in a decorative gift box or nice. Another idea would be to show the design in a stand of wood or metal.
