If you are in Egypt, why not try to climb Mount Sinai? It is the biblical mountain on which Moses was called by God to receive the laws for all humanity in the form of two stone tablets. A holy place for Muslims, Christians and Jews alike, climbing Mount Sinai, is a pastime not only for devotees.
Although both Israel and Saudi Arabia also claim to have found the holy mountain within their respective borders, is Mount Sinai in Egypt, attracting the masses, each night, literally thousands.
WHERE?
In the St. Catherine Protectorate, 100 km inland from the Red Sea coast powder Sinai Peninsula from Egypt. Six hours of Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab two hours or ten hours from Cairo.
